5 bundles of love and energy

The puppies are getting so big now; they will be 7 weeks on Wednesday. I am continual amazed at how good these puppies have been and how much they are growing and learning. They are getting so strong and love to run around outside. They will stay with who ever is loving them and follow them where ever they go, I know they are all going to be very obedient and loyal dogs. With a lot of love and a little training these puppies are going to make 5 families very happy.

Dog Days Of Summer

These puppies LOVE playing outside. We have had some really warm days this last week and we played outside almost all day with the puppies. Its so fun watching them be brave as they explore and wonder around checking out everything. When they are all tired they always end up in the same place, under our chairs, all of them huddled together for their naps. I can’t believe it in less then two week all of these puppies will be ready to find their forever home.

Puppy Love

It is going to be very hard for Ethan to adopt out all of these puppies, Ethan is always taking care of them, playing with them and loving them. He knows that they will be going to GOOD forever homes and he says he's ok with that, but I know he will miss them Very much.

Feeding Time

The puppies started the weaning process this week, and are now learning to eat very soft puppy food, by 5 weeks it’s ideal if the puppies are no longer nursing. As you can imagine it gets very messy with 7 little puppies trying to figure out what to do with the “wet stuff” in front of them. There is always one that decides to sit in it. The puppies are also stating to get their teeth now and their little puppy claws are very sharp. The puppies personalities are really starting to show now, and they are so much fun to play with.

Watch how we grow

The puppies are starting to get big now!! On April 30th all the puppies started to open their eyes…all beautiful baby blue. They also, are starting to walk on all fours. It’s only a matter of time and their going to be everywhere getting into everything, good thing their so cute. Ethan recently decided to give them all their temporary names, until a good family adopts them and give them their real name.

Their Finally Here!!!

Kara had a long 61 day, but now the wait is over. On April 16th Kara had eight puppies, we can’t believe it, 3 chocolate (2 female and 1 male) & 5 yellow (3 female and 2 male). All of the puppies are doing GREAT and are very comfortable and happy. As you can see their all little chubbies, except the two chocolate females, they look like they are going to be taking after their grandma Mocha Tootsies Toast, and be a little one the smaller side. All the chocolates have dad’s brilliant chocolate coat, and the yellows range to almost white to as dark or darker then mom. We are all so happy and the boys (Ethan & Bowen) can not get enough of them. These puppies are hugged, snuggled, and kissed everyday. Right now Ethan is trying to decide what we will call all of the pups until they leave for their forever home, were not sure if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Transformer names will win out, well keep you all posted.

A Little about us

Hi, my name is Takara Mocha Creek, but everyone just calls me Kara. I live in Oregon right now with my loving family while my dad finishes school, but I’m originally from Utah. I really enjoy long walks with my family, and playing at the park. All the kids at the park love to watch me and Bear go down the slides, it always surprises them and they can’t get enough of it. I also love playing in any water I can find, but there’s nothing better then a good swim. I love hunting, but dad has been so busy with school the last few years I have not been able to go. I’m a VERY loving dog that ALWAYS wants to cuddle. I love playing with kids, and looking after my family.

The father of our puppies is Brown BearAnde. Bear is a Very loyal dog. Dad always calls him his shadow, because where ever he goes Bear follows. Bear enjoys all the things I do as well, and we really enjoy being able to play everyday together. Bear is a BEAUTIFUL chocolate Labrador; in fact he has been approached several times and asked if he could stud other litters, because his chocolate coat is so brilliant. Mom and dad let him stud one time, and now he really thinks he’s a STUD!!!
